As part of school life, we believe that these values are important to instill
in our ākonga and model in our practices. We want to ensure that school
is a fun place to be.
Te Taumutu Rūnanga Values
The eight values selected by Te Taumutu Rūnanga Education Committee are particularly relevant to schools. These values are everyday values, which are essentially the human values of caring for each other, respecting the elderly and the environment. These are values common in many cultures throughout our world.
